Meet the CJF Team

Angelle Kashanian

Angelle Kashanian was born in Iran & has been a New Yorker since she was 3 years old. She has studied Early Childhood Education & Sociology- working mainly in office administration.

She has explored various fields- medical, financial, research, non-profit, & religious; she has volunteered & worked in Israel & London; & is currently a Holistic Health & Wellness Couch & founder of WholisticFreedom.com.

Angelle’s recent journey of self growth & empowerment is fulfilling her passion to help people on a deeper, more connecting level & has led her to co-create the Children’s Joy Fund. On the side she is a poet, a dancer, a traveler & a recent trapeze enthusiast!

Tannesha Carney

Tannesha Carney is a Business Manager, Dog Walker & Child Caregiver. She was born in St. Thomas, Jamaica, & was raised in New York half her life.
 
She has worked as a Business Manager for several businesses from Restaurants, Pet Care Industry to a Market Research Coding & Translation Company.
 
Tannesha is an animal lover, & has a passion for dancing, music, traveling, the arts & connecting with people, especially our youths. She was also a member of the Creative Arts Team (CAT), at the New York University. She puts her all into everything she does & is a philanthropist in her own right. She is pragmatic & believes that we can create change in everything we do. All it takes is one effort!

Danny Lamas

Danny Lamas is a human rights activist & an aspiring entrepreneur. He was born & raised in Miami, Florida & hails from Phoenix, Arizona, now living between New York City & Washington, D.C., where he earned his degree in political science from the George Washington University.
 
He has worked for over five years promoting human rights & democracy at the Center for a Free Cuba. He has field experience in Havana, administrative & federal grant project management experience, & has worked for a former U.S. ambassador.
 
Danny is passionate about music, technology, service, & defending the freedom & rights of people around the world. With his free time he loves reading, traveling, exercising, watching Pixar films over & over again, sharing & connecting with others, & making music.

Lorena Morales

Lorena Morales was born & raised in Arequipa, Peru. She came to the U.S.A. to attend Cedar Crest College in Pennsylvania, where she earned a B.S. in International Business & a B.A. in Spanish.
 
She has worked in the expansion, implementation, administration & coordination of blindness prevention programs in Africa, Asia & South America & HIV prevention programs in New York City. Currently, as a Project Manager at an Advertising Agency, Lorena works in campaigns that make the world a better place.

Dahlia Ambach Caplin

Dahlia Ambach-Caplin was born in Antwerp, Belgium & came to the US  to get her her BA in Journalism at the University of Miami. She currently serves as Vice President of A&R at Verve Music Group. She has been involved in signing & developing a broad range of artists & genres with a mission of honoring the Verve brand’s legendary status while continuing to move the brand forward.

Children are  the victims of the ills of society. Dahlia is part of Children’s Joy Fund because she’s committed in helping those  with urgent needs .

Al Guerraiche

Al Guerraiche was born in Paris, France. He studied Law & Psychology at Tolbiac/St Hyppolite before coming to the US. He was a New Yorker for 17 years. After a career in fashion as production manager for 3 years, he became the official agent for the Julien Segura brand. He, then, became the manager of Esperanto, a successful pan latin restaurant in the east village before taking on the management of Rose Live Music in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

In 2011, after having a baby girl, he decided to go back to his roots. He now lives in Montpellier, France. Al’s message to the world is: One for all, All for one.
