The Children’s Joy Fund is an independent, charitable fund that supports programs benefiting the children in New York City and around the world.

To raise funds, host events, and develop programs that will inspire children in need around the world.
What We Envision
Children in New York and around the world have adequate food, clothing, toys, and inspiring experiences that bring joy to their lives and dramatically improve conditions of poverty or sickness.
We value the hope, compassion, humor, courage, and dignity that makes every child special. Our objectives are to identify and connect children with donors and programs that support their needs; raise awareness of hunger and poverty among children in need throughout local communities; and sponsor programs and events to inspire a joyful spirit of youth among children with illnesses at local hospitals.
Fundraising Goal for 2011
Funds for a year’s worth of healthy and nutritious food supporting the Food Bank for New York City and the Liberty Cafe.
The Food Bank for NYC BackPack Program works to help alleviate child hunger in America by providing hungry children with nutritious and easy-to-prepare food at times when other resources are not available, such as weekends. The program provides backpacks filled with food that is child-friendly, shelf-stable, and healthy.
Liberty Cafe is a soup kitchen operated in Brooklyn which feeds 2000 people a week.
