The Childrens Joy Fund Benefit Event March 25th!

We wish to cordially invite you to our charity event on Thursday, March 25, the Children's Joy Fund, benefiting The Children's Hospital at Montefiore Medical Center.

This year, the Child Life Program at the hospital has expressed interest in expanding its Creative Arts Therapies, and your participation in our event would be a valuable part in making a lasting impact on the life of a child. The night will be a joyous celebration of the lives of the children we are supporting, and we have booked entertainment to fit the occasion:

and Dj Sid Vaga.

The event will take place on Thursday, March 25th from 8pm to 12am at The Box: 189 Chrystie Street, New York, NY 10002 [map it]. Advance tickets are on sale for $40.00 a person, or $50 at the door. We are also selling six-person tables at $250 plus a one-bottle minimum.

We will have a silent art auction and also holding raffles throughout the night. Raffle tickets are 1 for $5, or 5 for $20. Click here to purchase.

As we pour our hearts into creating a beautiful triumph for children and the New York community, we hope you will join us in supporting Montefiore, whose funding can only continue with all of our support. We aspire to give suffering children renewed hope through the ability to express themselves creatively through the arts, and it is our sincere hope that you will inspire and bring even greater success to our event.

Three areas of funding needs we are supporting with the event include:

(1) Musicians on Call, a New York City-based nonprofit organization that brings professional musicians to hospitals, facilitating the healing process for children through the power of music.

(2) Medical play teaching dolls, puppets, and equipment to help young patients begin to understand their medical treatment and cope with their fears.

(3) Beads of Courage, a unique program designed to support and strengthen the coping resources of children suffering from cancer.
